Verizon Wireless cell phone help?

well I have a Blue Ice LG Chocolate, and i'm getting a new phone tomorrow because mine won't charge and it randomly shuts off. The LG Chocolate costs.. $179.99 .. could I get a cheaper phone than this? I have insurance on my phone!
