Texting on the LG KG800 Chocolate cell phone?

When you text on the KG800 Chocolate by LG, do you have to use T9 texting? I'm planning on getting this phone, and I'm not very good at using T9...please help.

1. No, you don't have to. There's also the normal abc texting too.
2. Don't get GSM Chocolates... They crash so much... It won't last you over 1 year.
3. Koterbro, My LG KG800 doesn't seem to get a very good signal.
