i got water on my lg chocolate cell phone. how can i make it work again?

i put it in the sunlight for pretty much all of today and its in a bowl of rice now cuz i heard that takes water out. any other ideas i should try before i see if it works again?

1. You should have immediately used a blow dryer on it. By first removing the battery and then blow drying the inside. it would have worked immediately.
2. There are pleanty of things you can try to get your phone to work again and basically if they work you got lucky. Once a phone has water damage it will never work the same again. Even if by chance you do get it to turn on it will only be a matter of time before the corosion on the inside will make the phone stop working again.
