what does water damage spot look like in a lg chocolate cell phone?

my little white circle has red criss cross lines in it. Does that mean it has water damage, or is that how it was originally?

1. Well, there's a good way to avoid this problem....either A) don't get yer phone wet, dummy..or B) I take the damn sticker out that way if i screw up and accidently get it wet, I can just put the sticker back on and say it didn't get wet...and yes, that's water damage, buddy...the sticker is supposed to be white
2. If your talking about your navigation keys with the red criss cross line, you won't be able to tell if there's water damage because that part is plastic. Water damage looks like salt water dried up on a rock. Thats the best I can decribe it.
