LG Wireless Phone

Friend's dog killed my cell phone...help, please?

Okay, so as the question states...my friend's dog annhilated my Verizon wireless cell phone, which is the old LG Chocolate (I can't see half of the screen now, it flickers a lot, and she cracked the plastic on the front.) So it's basically worthless because I can't read texts, see the clock, view the alerts at the bottom of the screen, or see who's calling me. Sorry for the long description, haha. But anyways.... I was wondering, what are my options for buying a new phone from Verizon? My two years aren't up yet, and I'm not the primary line. I'd rather get a new phone rather than get another phone like the one I currently have. And obviously, I would prefer to NOT have to pay the full retail price for a new phone. Thank you! :)

1. the chocolate phone sells for @100 at walmart without a contract .... or you could buy the juke thats on sale for $88 at walart or a samsung phone for $40 and all these have no contracs
2. If you don't have insurance you will have to buy a new phone at retail value- or see if you can get insurence added to your plan after waiting a week say ur phone broke
