How do I send free pictures from my cell phone as a text to another cell phone?

My friends keep sending me funny pictures in a text message to my cell phone, so how do I send pictures back? I have an alltel LG, older model cell phone, without internet, so I have to open the pictures up on my internet browser at home to view the pics through the alltel website. Is there a website where I can type in someone's cell phone number and send them pictures that doesn't cost money? I'm looking for funny pictures.
