Can I switch my sim card in my att go phone?

i have a motorola c168i att go phone right now. but i want to buy a samsung a117. can i just put my motorola c168i sim card into a new samsung a117

1. You should be able to use the new Samsung as long as it is a ATT cellphone or unlocked gsm phone. I switch my phones all the time. I just pop my sim card in and use as usual.
