can i buy an iphone from att without a contract and use the sim card from my att prepaid phone?

i have an att prepaid phone but iwant to buy a new iphone 3g and was wondering can i put the sim card from my go phone into the iphone?

2. yes you can. but without the contract, i believe the iphone is about $500
3. you cannot buy it without a contract. if you do get one then you could use any att sim. prepaid or contract.
