Switch sim cards from att phone to go phone?

I have a ATT cell phone and i want a new one. Ive noticed that they have some pretty cheap go phones. Is it possible to take out the sim card from my phone and use it on the go phone???

1. Yes you can I've done it before.
2. Yes, people have been doing it for years when they broke the contract phone but not eligible for a new one yet. I always purchase a go phone as a standby just in case.
3. Yes, you can. It is very much possible to use your AT&T SIM on a gophone since they are under same carrier and used SIM card that can be easily swap to other GSM phone. And even use your AT&T SIM card on an unlocked phone.
