ATT Bill Past Due?

I recieved my bill in the mail from ATT/Cingular and I sent the money off this past Monday. However, on the website att.com when I log in to my account, it is telling me my bill is passed due.. Surely ATT has recieved my money because my phones have not been shut off. Is the website acting up or what?

  1. Has your check cleared your bank account?
  2. I have AT&T and all you have to do is call 1800-331-0500 and talk to a representative about your issue. I just updated my minutes per month on the website plus I called the toll free number at the same time. I did not have any problems at all. The rep was there to help me with my needs. Tell them what the website is telling you and that you sent the money. They are very nice people to talk to. Let me know how this turns out for you. God Bless!
  3. Sometimes, the website takes a couple of days to update, so the best idea is to call customer care (611 from your cell or 1-800-331-0500 from a land line) and verify with them. Just because your phone hasn't been turned off yet does not mean that your payment has been received. AT&T does not automatically terminate service as soon as a bill is past due. A lot of factors determine that. Payment history, longevity of the account and other things determine how long past the due date your service will stay active. I suggest you call customer care right away and have them check your account for you to see if it has yet posted. Just so you know...if your phone service DOES go into suspension, you will still be able to call 611 from your cell to talk to Customer Care. There will also be a re-activation fee of $36.00. Call as soon as you can. Good luck.
