I have landline phone service, and a alarm system, if i get digital phone from twc will my alarm still work?

Right know I have regular att phone service, and a adt alarm system, if i get digital phone from timewarner cable can my alarm system still work or do I have to buy additional equipment?

1. Time Warner Cable can change you jacks so that ADT can still use your phone line. However, there are some things that ADT would prefer you to use a standard line over a VoIP line. You would want to contact ADT and let them know of the change. They can advise you accordingly. The TWC line does work just like a phone line, however, remember if you have children or need a guaranteed 911 service, only the local phone company can provide it. The 911 service with TWC is not effective in the event of power outages or cable TV outages.
