I have att service and was given a free verizon phone can I hook it up with my att service?

  1. No. In the US, there are two cell phone networks, CDMA (Verizon & Sprint) and GSM (AT&T & T-Mobile). Phones made for one network cannot be used on the other.
  2. probably...my friend did it with his virgin mobil and switched it to verizon
