Is it possible with ATT cell phone service to get a copy of my teenage daughter's text messages?

We would like to be able to get a copy of our teenage daughter's Sent/received text messages (without her knowing of course). She ends up deleting them and we can't check.

Public Comments

1. No, they can't look at the text messages, they can tell who they are to and from though.
2. The actual content of the messages cannot be obtained, only the number to which the message is sent to can be seen on the invoice.
3. i text a lot, and if my mom ever did that, i would be real embarrassed and betrayed. give her some privacy and no you can't do that. i think the company can only see the last 50 text or so that she last sent/recieved.
4. Alright, im a 14 year old guy so i obviously have texting on my phone. But the whole reason I got texting was to chat with a girl I find really cute (not a girlfriend, I'm not allowed to have one). We texted each other all night a few times and we talked about stuff like church and music. So anyways, what I'm trying to say is to let your daughter keep texting, and soon the whole texting phase will be over with. I was hooked on texting for about 5 months, so expect something close to that. Also, your daughter would be really embarassed if u do that, so I thinks its best not to do that. But your a mom so I understand, (my mom's the same way lol).
