If i drop my ATT phone service and keep the sbc global DSL do I have to pay for the phone line serving the DSL?

I really like Vonnage's unlimited calling for 24.99 per month. Why can't you do that?

  1. You can not do that it is a package deal unless down grade your subscription for global Dsl it is cheaper still bundle up with phone line.
  2. I know someone who did just that. She subscribed to Vonage and wanted to keep her SBC number. Vonage took care of it, alright. She ended up with no DSL and no phone service and it took over a week to restore it. Drop your phone subscription and your DSL goes away! SBC doesn't sell DSL without phone service.
