- First off, no you can't open your OWN account. I don't know why you would think they would let a 16 y/o have bills like that? Even if you could get an account in your name- you can't even have a full time job yet (it's against the law) so you probably won't be making enough money full time to pay a monthly phone bill. Plus you need to have credit to open an account and if you dont att usually charges like a $400 deposit alone (plus the cost of the phone, activation charges, etc) But anyone can get a prepaid, they cost a little more per minute, and you can never use more than you have, but they are nice in the sence you dont have a responibility to the phone
- You cannot open an account at 16. You must be 18 in most places, and some even require you to be 19 to legally be able to sign a contract. If you want your own phone line, you need to talk to your parents and/or other trusted adult.
- no you dont i have opened my account on my phone and im 11.
