What kind of new phones are they making in the company Verizon wireless and are the phones good?

Well, its usually a normal answer i need to get a phone thats cheap and is good... and is Verizon wireless a good phone company?

in my opinion Verizon is the best u can have and i have cingular i dont think they r made any new ones (beside i phone) but new version of the kinds they already have
No Verizon wireless is very very bad. They have avoided deploying world cellular standard equipment, like GSM or 3GPP instead deploying IS95 and CDMA2000. This means you are limited to a poor selection of phones available only in the US and which will work in no other country and on no other network. If you have a GSM or 3GPP network provider (e.g. Tmobile, cingular/at&t) then the phone you have will work elsewhere in the world and you can buy phones elsewhere in the world that are way better and will work at home. The selection of phones in the US is pitiful compared to Europe and the far East.
This is easy, if you are planning on leaving the country, then don't get Verizon. If you are in the country, Verizon is the best coverage and service. Customer Service is great too. Right now, I believe the have a sale for $79 dollars you can get some top of the line phones. I have the Samsung U-740. It has a Dual hinge for texting and a full keyboard. I really like it. I have had everyone of the cell companies and none of them compare to Verizon. Just type AT&T or Cingular in Yahoo Answers and you will see what I have talking about.
in verizon they have about 6 phones that are free. i have on of those phones. all you have to do is pay for service about 100$ a month. check out verizonwireless.com
