How does the "unlimited texting" for Verizon Wireless work?

Like, my mom got me the "unlimited to verizon users" plan, and 200 texts to other people. So does this mean that I can SEND texts to verizon users for free, but I still have to pay for the ones I recieve, even if they're Verizon? And my friends said that she has Verizon Wireless, and she gets unlimited texting to any network. How does that work? And does anyone have any further information on that?

1. You can send and receive unlimited text within a Verizon network. (Anyone who has Verizon) You can only send and receive 200 from other cell phone providers like Sprint, at& T, etc. Then you get charged.
2. Your plan sounds like it actually means that you can send texts to verizon users for free but it costs money if you send texts to people with other networks. Or the first 200 texts to send to other networks are only free. You don't get charged for receiving texts even if you didn't have the unlimited plan.
3. You can only send texts to Verizon. Any other plans you get 200, and after that it's 10 cents per message. You do not have to pay for recieving if they are from verizon, but if they aren't then yes they go towards your 200. She has unlimited texting plan for all carriers. It's 29.99 a month and its unlimited to everyone.
4. Not sure how your mom got you 200 texts and unlimited to Verizon users as the lowest text plan they have is 250 text/pix/flix send & received to anyone on any network including Verizon @ $5.00 a month and there is no "IN" or unlimited texting to Verizon customers. The next one up is $10 a month at 500 text/pix flix sent & receivd to anyone on any network and this is the first plan that has the unlimited "IN" texting to Verizon customers, then thre is $15 a month and you get 1500 text/pix/flix sent & received to anyone on any network & unlimited "IN" texting to Verizon customers and lastly is $20 a month at 5000 tex/pix flix sent & received and unlimited "IN" texting to Verizion customers. To have truly unlimited to anyone on any network you would pay $20 a month for an individual plan or $30 a month for a family share plan (2 or more lines). And unlimited also means you can use mobile IM (yahoo, aol or msn) on your phone for free as it comes out of your texting plan if it's unlimited then there are no worries. However, if you do not have unlimited then each IM sent or received would go against your texting limited and on mobile IM there is no such thing as Verizon to Verizon as it does not distinguish whether you are IM'ing a Verizon customer it only knows that you are utilizing either aol, yahoo or msn.
