How long it takes to port verizon wireless number to tracfone?

The tracfone website says it takes 7 to 10 days to port a cell phone number. Does anyone has experience porting verizon wireless number to tracfone? How many days did it take in your case? Thank you.

1. I ported 2 Verizon numbers to Net10 phones. One number ported in about 15 minutes and the other ported in around 2 hours. It took longer to port a number from one Tracfone to another Tracfone a few days later. Which took around 12 hours. You will have service with your Verizon phone until the port is complete with your Tracfone. So you should not be left without a phone.
