my computer keeps randomly disconnecting from my wifi network?

i have a win-7 PC and a Belkin router at random times my computer disconnects and seems to struggle to re-authenticate with the router once it finds it again (which normally takes quit a while ) my laptop and phone have no problem though so it seems isolated to my computer. WiFi adapter drivers are up to date as well

1. What kind of wifi adapter? USB or internal? It's possible you have a heat problem either way, but recognizing it would be different for each type. Or it might be some local interference problem.
