To any att customers what can i do about my phone bill while in basic training?

I will be leaving to usmc boot camp soon. My phone bill is $80 per month and i wont be using my phone for 3 months. Im on a family plan so can my line just be cancelled for three months or do i have to keep paying?

1. You will have to call AT&T and ask them to suspend your service for 3 months, if you are caught up on your bill (*paid in full*), you will have much greater success at getting them to agree. If they do agree, that 3 months may not be included in your contract time (so if you have a 1 year left on your contract, you would still have a 1 year left at the end of the 3 months).
