LG Wireless Phone

Can I use a Motorola Devour (Verizon) phone for Wifi connection only (with no cell plan/coverage)?

I have a brand new Devour and want to set it up through my home wifi connection for my kids to be able to use the apps and internet. I can't get past the activation screen, and when I go to the menu for wifi settings everything is grayed out. Any advice or guidance?

1. ok so i had/have the same problem it's easy to get past the activation screen just slide out the keyboard when you get the language screen and type fn e fn e bluroff thats it but as for using the wifi verizon has it locked down along with the camera ( I think, otherwise my camera is bad) now i have heard of people that got lucky and it worked If you find new info please let me know
