Belkin Router n150 not sending wifi signal?

I recently Bought a new Belkin Router and I set it up and everything but when i went to go look for the signal on my phone and laptop nothing came any ideas how to fix this I put in a the CD that came with it then it asked me to put in the (Network Name)SSID and the Password that came with the router

1. Check if there's a wifi button on the router. Mine had one and I didn't figure it out until I looked at the box.
2. Can you be a bit more detailed about exactly what you did when you set it up? Did you assign it an SSID? Did you disable SSID broadcast? (If you disable SSID broadcast, you won't be able to find the signal.)
