Buying a new cell phone battery?

My LG enV2 cell phone needs a new battery but all of the ones on Amazon are for the VX9100, but my phone info says my SW version is VX910V07. Does it make a difference? Would the battery still work? I have no idea what all the numbers and letters mean and I don't have the box and stuff that came with my cell phone, so I'm basically just wondering if I buy a battery from Amazon, even if it's not the exact same everything, will it still work?
