LG Wireless Phone

My brand new Verizon LG phone has had the roaming indicator on since I got it. How do I fix this?

My new phone has had the roaming indicator on since I got it and programmed it...it shouldn't, because I'm right here in my own house. Why does this happen, and how do I fix it? It's a Verizon LG enV.

1. well im not sure how u do it on an envy but you can prbly check thru the menu options thru settings and go to either phone sttings or call settings and look until you find something about roaming...
2. Try updating your roaming capabilities by diling *228 and then send. It is an automated system. Choose option 2 to update. Wait until you are told if it was a succesful update, and then hang up. It should be done once every 30 days.
