If you lost your att phone, when you go get a new one does it have to be the same one?

Just on Friday i lost my phone at school and tomorrow we are going to go get me a new one because we didnt find it. When we go to ATT do i have to get the same type phone i had before, or can i get a different kind if i we buy it?

1. You can buy whatever phone you want to...
2. It can be any cell phone as long as it is with the cell phone carrier A T&T. Any other cell phone from another cell phone company will not work.
