do you have wireless landline phones in the uk?

a wireless phone which is like a mobile but it just has a landline number instead. you got that in UK? if yes then where and how much? any info?

1. We have cordless phones,they only have a range of 100 yards or so. landlines are connected to the local telephone exchange so they can't be wireless
