How to remove a line from Verizon wireless family plan to a different Verizon wireless family plan?

I have an iPhone that is part of a Verizon Wireless family plan. However, due to personal circumstances, I need to switch my coverage under this family plan to a different family plan (one that is currently in existence). I am not the main line or owner of either plan. Who will need to request the change? The owner of the plan I am currently on? The owner of the plan I hope to switch to? Both simultaneously? I would appreciate any help you could give me.

  1. The person who's plan you are trying to be added to would have to call customer service. Verizon will tell you that technically you are ending one contract, & try to charge you an early termination fee...
