Must I buy my LG Dare from Verizon if I want to use it with a Verizon plan?

Is there truly a difference between a Verizon LG Dare and an AT&T LG Dare? Can I buy the Dare from an AT&T store and have it activated for Verizon usage?

1. No, ATT uses SIM cards, and verizon uses a different method. you can NOT interchange the two.

4. There is no AT&T LG Dare. Verizon still hold exclusivity on that phone. And, Verizon does not use SIM cards because it is on a different network, CDMA, like Sprint. T-Mobile and AT&T are the only major companies that use them. If you want the phone, you have to get it from Verizon. I have it and Verizon and it's great. Great phone on a great network with excellent service. Much better than AT&T.
