How do you turn off GPS tracking on a cell phone?

So I know that when you take pictures on your phone and put them up on places like Facebook people can track you from the pictures. I have a LG Rumor Touch and I was wondering how you turn of that tracking thing. Thank you(:

1. that has nothing to do with your gps being on or off, because it can track based on the cellular network too start your camera app, go to options and find the "Geo Tag' option and turn it off that way your pictures arent tagged with your location
