Verizon Wireless LG phone wont work?

The phone was left in water by accident, for maybe a couple hours or so. And then i attempted to turn it on, which of course did not work. It was then covered in rice for four days. When those for days were over, the phone would turn on but the screen would not work. Thinking that we could start the process over again and maybe restart it, my friend dropped it back in water and blow dried the phone. 2 days later, we turned it on. It was then put on the charger. It starts to charge but then stops. So the screen says verizon wireless and then it turns black. This process just repeats itself. btw, sometimes it says battery charging. So is the phone completely useless now? if not how could i fix it?

1. Go to a nearby Verizon Wireless store. If the front desk clerk refuses to give you a new phone for free or fix it for free, demand to speak to the supervisor, if they refuse, go the manager, and (if not successful) go even higher to the corporate level. Remember to threaten to change cell phone providers or say "you've just lost a customer", they would be insane to not give you a refund or exchange after that.
