losing connection to internet every few minutes for a couple of seconds, any ideas?

Modem is from Virgin Media, Wireless Router is a Belkin_G_Plus_MIMO, Happening to all things connected: wifi on phone, laptop and xbox, simultaniously when multiple things are on but still happening to things when only one is on, tried to restart router and modem, as well as all devices connected to the network.

1. reinstall the wireless lan card
2. ring up virgin, because all these products are downloading data at the same time. Even if one thing is on, the signal is not strong enough to download the data. Virgin may have something to do with it, where your router is could be a problem, and where your local internet provider connection is could be a problem, talk to virgin explain your not getting enough connection, and if they say its not their problem, ring up belkin, they may have a solution. (may need to get a better router)
3. Something is connected to your phone line without a proper DSL filter. It can be anything -- a cordless phone base station, a satellite TV receiver, an alarm system, and so on.
