do att sim cards work in verison phones?

i have att for my phone, but my contracts not up, so i cant get a new phone and my old one is broken. ive been looking on ebay for a phone and i really like the blackberry bold by verison. since you need a sim card in your phone for att, would my sim work in a verison phone?

2. No..AT&T uses GSM technology with the SIM card. Verizon uses CDMA, a totally different system..
