How do i get my PUK code on my ATT phone?

I entered my PIN code wrong too many times and now my phone wont do anything until i enter a PUK code. Im not registered on ATT's site so i cant get it from there. What do i do?

1. if i remember corectly a puk code is a any 8-digit code just type in 8 numbers, if that doesnt work go to a attention store anyway
