Can I get the new Iphone on Verizon?

I got the LG Dare 18 months ago and want to upgrade to an iphone. How does the Verizon upgrade policy work and how much will it cost me for renewing the same plan with the new phone?

1. right now you would have to pay full price or wait 3 more months you have to be in your 21 month of service to be eligible according to the VZN website
2. Apparently, not just yet. Verizon cancelled their "New Every Two" upgrade discount, effective January 16, 2011. Also, the ability to upgrade at a reduced price every 12 months if you renew your two-year contract is now gone. The good news is, much like AT&T, you'll still be eligible for discounted upgrades every 20 months with a renewal of the two-year contract, so you only have to wait two more months before you're eligible.
