- You can not connect a wireless heaphone jack to a tv that does not have an audio output. Most new tv have an optical output that has to be connected to the receiver or home theater in a box to get any sound.
- Do you have a Cable Box with Audio/Video outputs ? If so, you should be able to connect your Wireless Headphones to that.If not, you're going to need either a DVD or VCR.Hook your Cable in, then out to your TV, set to channel 3 or 4.And connect your Wireless Headphones to the Audio Outputs, and change your channels that way.Hope this helps !
- Your LG set will have some type of auxiliary audio output intended for an external home theater or similar amplifier. The amplifier typically will have a headphone jack. I have such a system, and when I want to use my headphones I just run the TV audio down to zero, switch off the home theater speakers, and plug the headphones into the headphone jack on the amplifier. You could do the same, just plug the wireless headphone base unit into the amplifier headphone jack. In any case, you'll need some type of external amplifier with its own headphone jack to use your wireless (or any) headphones. See the reference for an example. Note the headphone jack at the lower left.
