How do i set a new voice mail onto my cell phone?

I just got a new cell phone and cant figure out how to set a new voice message. If it helps it is a, LG NV Touch By Verizon Wireless! Any ideas? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1. You need to dial into your voicemail, enter your password, and listen to the menu- there'll be an option to change your settings or something like that..
