Can you use a sprint phone on the Verizon wireless network?

My Blackberry curve recently fell in a pool and my uncle gave me a blackberry pearl from sprint, but i have Verizon wireless. Will it work or not?? please HELP ME!!!

1. No it will not. Sprint phones work on Sprint, Verizon phones work on Verizon.
2. Some phones with other carriers may work on Verizon network, but most will not. The only way to find out for sure is by taking it into a Verizon store and a representative can let you know for sure.
