Can you connect a Verizon Wireless phone to a Sprint Contract ?

Well I recently got a Verizon Wireless phone because I was going to connect to a Metro PCS line .. but I just realized that I have to get a Sprint contract . So this means im not getting a Metro contract , I was wondering if you could connect a Verizon phone to a Sprint contract , PLEASE HELP ME . Thanks to all in Advance (:

1. Hi, Technically you can switch a Verizon Wireless so that you can use it on a Sprint line. But its no easy task, it involves many software related changes that involves, writing new prl files to the phone, changing settings, and getting to the phones hidde menu. It can be done ,but if you dont have previous knowledge,i wouldnt recomment it, And if you do switch it To sprint, many of the phones features may be rendered useless. The more technically difficult the phone, such as blackberry, palm tre,htc, or pda phones are harder to switch, whereas a more basic phone, would be easier. From my personal opinion, i wouldnt recommend it.thanks
