LG Wireless Phone

Do you get an upgrade with free phones?

Okay so my mom and I switched to Verizon Wireless and we got some free phones with a 2-year contract (I think). Anyway I was wondering if we would get an upgrade in a year or 2 even though our phones were free?

  1. You can upgrade your phone every two years. The primary account number will get a credit (usually) of $30 or $50 dollars, depending on your minute plan. The secondary line will not get the credit, but can upgrade their phone for a reduced price. There are always phones for $50 with a $50 mail in rebate, but there are rarely any where you just get the phone for nothing (unless you have that NE2 credit). The primary can also have an annual upgrade if they want to sacrifice their NE2 credit I mentioned earlier. You can also take the other line's upgrade if you so choose, but you have to be an Authorized User in order to do so, or have your mother with you when you do the upgrade.
  2. Once you compolete 20 months of the contract, you will be eligible for an upgrade.
