LG Wireless Phone

does anyone know of a similar program as Safe Link Wireless that offers free cell phones to low income people?

1. Verizon offers a program for "lifeline" haha i only heard about it when i got a letter from Verizon saying im so poor i qualify for it.
2. It is not in my state either under Safe Link or any other program.
