I have a old ATT phone with a sim card, Can i buy a phone on amazon then but my sim card to use it?

i have a old school flip fat phone from att had it 2yrs now ... If i buy a phone from amazon can i switch my sim card from my old phone to the new one and still have the same plan i do with att?

1. as long as there the same carrier (AT&T) then ur good. all sim cards work for at&t if they are at&t sim cards. i do it all the time when i get new phones
