Make a verizon wireless router work for comcast?

I have a Verizon westell 7501 wireless router, any one has any idea on how to make it work for comcast. It is definitely not plug and play. The router connects with a comcast modem and the computer with Ethernet cords.

1. What are your connection options (coax black cable, Cat5 ethernet, etc)? Also, is this a modem and router or just the router? It might be able to be tweaked to work, but I can not say for sure. I would just try plugging in your internet cable and see if it connects.
