LG Wireless Phone

Are there any Verizon Wireless phones that have WiFi but do not require the purchase of internet for the phone?

i noticed verizon makes i mandatory that u have to purchase the $30 monthly internet to buy their smart phones and i rather not buy the internet and just be able to use the wifi capability
