Can I use WiFi on an unlocked Blackberry Curve 8520 without having a data plan?

I just bought an unlocked Blackberry Curve 8520 on ebay. The phone has WiFi capabilities. Right now I am using a Motorola Razr and do not have a monthly data plan but I am able to access internet but have to pay per/mg usage. With the Curve 8520, will I be able to use only WiFi where available and completely avoid using any type of AT&T internet?

3. Nope. AT&T will add the data plan to your account as soon as the network detects you're using a blackberry. It doesn't matter where you bought it or that it's unlocked.
