Way to shrink a cell phone cover?

I have the LG Envy Touch and i bout the pink cover for it. Its like the jelly streatchy material but it is like too big for my phone & i was just wondering if there is a way to shrink it so that it fits my phone better, whenever i open the phone up to text it slides all over the place & is mad abnoxious.

1. heat the cold shrinks things try blowdryer for awhile then immediatly put it in the freezer for a night.
