Verizon Wireless New in 2 Question?
I am getting emails saying I am eligible to get a new phone. I have had my current phone for a year and 7 months of the 2 year contract. I have never had the service interrupted, but I have paid my bill late a couple times, usually like a week or so. For instance my bill was due the 29th and I paid it on the 3rd. My question is, will paying my bill a week or so late bar me from getting an upgrade when they run the credit check?

- I don't believe they run a credit check when you upgrade, because you are agreeing to renew your contract for another two years by upgrading. If they are sending you notices now that you are eligible for the upgrade (which they usually do when you have completed 20 months of your contract) they apparently have no problem with your paying history. You have not appeared to have skipped any payment and paid double the next month, so it seems everything is OK with them. Keep in mind, that if you choose a new phone and requires you to pay something toward it, you will have to provide a credit card and pay that difference immediately before they send out the new phone.
