Is my credit score good enough for ATT phone?
I have a credit score of 544. I have one credit card and student loans in good standing. I have one 100 dollar medical bill on my credit report that was supposed to be taken care of by worker's comp. I had an account years ago that went delinquent but I have paid that since. I have recently gotten offers that i'm pre-approved for service. My friend doesn't want her account anymore and I wanted to take over financial responsibility. I am wandering if I can do that with my current credit? (I had my other account with absolutely no credit and wasn't required any deposit)

- No. 544 is way too low.
- Do you know what will give your score a boost? Pay off the credit card in full each month. It sounds like you are carrying a high balance on it - or even maxing it out to have a score that low, even with a medical bill unpaid. Also pay off that medical bill. Employers check - $100 is not worth you not getting the best jobs. Landlords and car insurance companies also check (you'll pay more for car insurance). Clean up your credit. But I don't think you'll get the phone. /
- I think you will get the phone-but agree to pay off the $100 medical bill. you paid your delinquent bill and your other two loans are current. Give it a try , what do you have to lose but a no you can't.
