How do I transfer my phone that was in my ex-husbands account to my fiance's account. We have talked to 3 diff?

ATT said to go on-line to avoid $18 transfer fee. We don't know where to go for ALL of the other stuff on here. Please HELP?

1. Someone LIED to you. You CAN'T avoid the transfer fee. Take the phone to a provider's store and they will do everything for you. Even if it is possible to do online, you will need information about the phone you don't know how to obtain. In addition, if you are worried about $18 to set up the account,. you can't afford a cell phone.
