Pre-Paid Phone Plan!!?

Well I am flying on a big trip on tuesday night. I will be going alone, and need a way to get in contact with everybody. My at&t go phone account expired, and now I am cell-less. I have a nice phone and just use an att sim card. They said I needed to buy a new sim card, and set up a whole new account. I don't want to do this. What is the best prepaid plan available? I hear boost is good, but the way I understand it, you have to buy one of their phones. I already have a nice unlocked phone. Please help!! We dint have a Virgin Mobile store here, and I don't have time to have a sim card delivered

1. I say virgin mobile would be the best.. Because you can pay it when ever you want really.. If you dont pay it one month it wont work till you add money and th expiration is a whole year. and their plans are decent its what i have , and im only 15 & i pay for it on my own.
