I have an att.yahoo POP3 account but I need IMAP, How do I go about it?

I just got a new iphone, my BellSouth email account is a POP3 which does not sync properly, all changes made in the phone are not automatically changed in Microsoft Outlook, with IMAP it is but Yahoo does not support it, is there a way around this?

1. You said it. Yahoo does not support IMAP. Your solution is to change to Gmail. Seriously though, if you must keep your POP3 Yahoo account, you can set up Automatic Forwarding to a Gmail account, and then set up the Gmail account as IMAP on your iPhone or Microsoft Outlook. That way, you don't need to notify your contacts of a change of email address. They send to your Yahoo address, and you see it in your Gmail account on the web, the iPhone, or in Outlook.
